Alexandre Farto (aka Vhils) is something of a rock star.



He said:  “ i see wall as a surface that absorbs the changes tahe happen in every city , every day at every hour.”



Instead of adding, the street artist creates by taking away, carving incredibly intricate portraits and murals across the walls of Macao.



Inspired by the history the city carries, his work reflects issues of identity, destruction, and our complex relationships with urban environments.
